This self-study module is designed to provide a review of human physiology of three core systems that are essential for exercise: energy, cardiovascular and respiratory. Once you understand the concepts about each body system from this module, you will be ready to learn how these systems work together during exercise and how they adapt to exercise training. The application to exercise will be discussed in class.
